Three main workstreams: I rebalanced the AWS footprint with proper load balancing, which made responses about 40% faster while cutting costs by a quarter. I led a migration to Next.js that improved API throughput by 35% and reduced cross-shard database queries by 45%. And I built a fintech event app with real-time geo-tagging that lifted user engagement by around 60%.

Fintech consulting is where I learned that most performance problems are architecture problems wearing a disguise. Nobody needs a faster query as much as they need one fewer query.
