For five semesters I was an undergraduate TA and section leader at the Fulton Schools of Engineering, assisting more than 2,000 students across computer science, AI/ML, SQL, and computational biology courses. I also mentored 20-plus freshmen one-on-one through their first year.

Explaining recursion to two thousand different people teaches you something no course does: there is no single good explanation of anything. There are only explanations that land for this person, today, given what they already know. That lesson transfers to writing, to trading theses, and to every design decision on this site.
